Information collection and Use
Data submitted via Lifeshare’s site is not shared with third parties. Data will not be sold, rented or disclosed. The Lifeshare site does not use cookies or log IP addresses. We only ask for names and mailing addresses so we can mail you the information you have requested. This will then be stored on our database and used for mailing purposes only. Telephone Numbers and e-mail addresses are optional as stated on the form pages.
Correction/Removal of data
Lifeshare endeavours to keep submitted data up-to-date. If you decide to become a volunteer, data submitted will be used for mailing of forms. If you already volunteer for Lifeshare and wish to have your details removed from our database, you may do so by checking in the Opting out section on the volunteer opportunities page. If you wish to update your records (e.g. if you move house) and carry on volunteering for Lifeshare, you may do so via our volunteer opportunities page by checking the "Update details".
